Jonathan Aidan Cockrell

My name is Jonathan Aidan Cockrell, you can call me Aidan. I was born in 2006 so I am now 12 years old. I've wanted to be an actor pretty much all of my life. I didn't realize when I was 4 or 5 that I wanted to be an "actor" but I realized that I liked acting out whatever was on tv. My dad always watched sports on tv. I created a path in his den for me to play whatever sport he was watching. Like, if he had baseball on tv then I stood in my play area and I swung the bat when the batter did or dove to catch the baseball when the outfielder did. I tagged more than one stuffed animal out at home plate. If football was on, then I threw the ball, made the tackles, I ran plays across the den, and of course celebrated every touchdown. Until I was about 7 years old, I insisted the tv was the "replay camera" and I was actually playing the game. When I wasn't playing sport then I enjoyed acting out scenes from the tv shows my mom watched. Look in the trivia section to read about the time I reenacted a scene from Criminal Minds. I've since graduated from reinventing what is on tv to acting out in actual real films. I still get to use my imagination and I see myself on the screen. What fun! I've enjoyed theatrical events such as school plays and musicals on to larger productions like Trading Paint and Alex. I've also acted in a couple of shorts through summer camps at the acting academy I attend. Watch for updates on this page as I'll start adding the links for you to enjoy those soon.
