Despite being a fan-favorite C-List actor in a few notoriously low scoring films, not much is publicized about John Tallman. Born in 1936 to Lucretia and Henry Tallman, John grew up in Rhode Island with his family. (It's worth noting that although the majority of his roles were that of American Indian characters, his family has no relation to the ethnicity, he simply was known for looking like an average member of the race.) He attended the New York Film academy in 1955 and dropped out after two years. His connection to mediocre directors accounts for the majority of his acting parts, including his most famous role in "Cry Wilderness". Show less «
