Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as Jodi Lynn Viers, she began her acting and singing career at the age of nine performing for local fairs, organizations and clubs. The following year she was cast as Baby June in "Gypsy" at the Fulton Opera House. During her school years, she performed in various local and regional theater companies, playing the roles of Annie, Little Red Riding Hood, Liesl, Peppermint Patty and Tuptim, to name a few. At 18, Jodi had the opportunity to play the older role of June as she was cast in the National Tour of "Gypsy" as Dainty June as well as perform in the Off Broadway Show, "Rehearsal For Murder". She also appeared in many industrials and commercials. After the blizzard of '93, Jodi moved to Los Angeles where she played the role of Alice in the Regional tour of The New Adventures of Alice in Wonderland. While training at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio under D.W. Brown, she also took classes with Tepper Gallegos and performed with Michetti/Knowles Entertainment and took on on bit parts in "Strange Days", "Forget Paris", "Unhappily Ever After" and the Weezer music video, "Buddy Holly". After marrying her high school sweetheart, Eric, she returned home to Lancaster, Pa with brief stays in Nashville, Tn, where she joined ASCAP as a songwriter, performed with local country artists and bands and recorded demos. While she and her husband started a family, she became a certified Elementary Teacher, ran a bakery and a children's theatre all while continuing to be the lead singer of local jazz,party, country and 80's bands.
