Jill Melody began her acting career as a teenager and quickly became accustomed to life in the entertainment arena. Jill recently starred in, and directed, the award winning Web Series "Ms. Incorporated ". Jill won the "Best Actress" award for her performance in the series - as Alexis Lennox- four times. The series itself, (available on Amazon) also won many awards including "Best Web Series" numerous times. Jill is also known for starring in the comedy film "Caroline". Jill's early training at North Carolina School of The Arts and The New York Film Academy in Los Angeles prepared her for appearances in NBC's hit show "Friends" and several made for television movies including "Kennedy", starring Martin Sheen, "First Affair", starring Loretta Swit, and "Spraggue" starring Michael Nouri. The Memphis Arts Council presented Jill with the "Best Ensemble Actress Award" for her role as Yvonne in Charlotte Delbo's play "Who Will Carry The Word?". Jill won the award for her performance as a French Resistance fighter who perished in Auschwitz. A sampling of Jill's other starring stage roles are "Antigone" in the Jean Anouilh adaptation of the classic play of the same name, and Jill Tanner in "Butterflies Are Free."In addition to appearing on stage and in movies, Jill has been featured in numerous television commercials. Her favorite medium is comedy and Jill shined as the unique singing hostess in the popular "Ground Round" commercial which was broadcast nationally. She was also engaging in a variety of other national and international commercials including:"Park Eight", "Georgia Bank & Trust","Continuum Games" & "Zayre"Jill is also a popular voice actor and has been the female spokesperson for dozens of "Genesis Diamonds" commercials in the mid-south, was featured in several "Timberland Boots" holiday ads, voiced commercials for the unique "Don't Take A Pill, Call Dr. Gil" advertising campaign, as well as many "Electronic Express" television ads. When "Funk and Wagnalls" launched their "Multi Media Encyclopedia" on line - Jill's voice was chosen to be the announcer for the project.
