Jey caught the acting bug early on in life. At the age of thirteen he landed the lead role in his end of primary school play, at Wyvern. This was enough to get Jey immersed into the love of acting. Continuing his drama studies into high school at Newington College, he graduated in 2008. Post graduating high school, he begun studying various courses at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). Whilst studying his craft, he obtained his real estate license at the prestigious Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW). In 2009 Jey landed a supporting role in Australia's largest series, Underbelly The Golden Mile, along side fellow actor and friend, Ryan Corr. He followed up this role the following year, with two major lead roles in the popular theatre shows, Better Man and Cold. He was given outstanding credit and rave reviews from his performance in Better Man. Particularly high lighted by major television director Tony Tisle. In 2011 Jey landed lead TV roles in Deadly Woman and Facing Evil. Soon after in 2012, he won a major American casting commercial which aired on MTV & Bravo TV. It was selected by major casting directors in the states such as Tamara Hunter (Pirate of the Caribbean). He continued his training with voice coach, Gabrielle Rodgers (The Hub Studio), and the Alexander technique with Barbara Robertson. Later the same year he played a featured thug in Baz Lhurmann's The Great Gatsby. Followed by a lead role in the quirky feature film Smash, playing the flamboyant Teddy Bukhari. Jey furthered his training, privately working with the ex head of acting coach at (NIDA), Kevin Jackson. Oz claims they were some of the most enlightening sessions he had ever had. Jey also started an independent production company, 5th Dimension Films in 2014. He has produced the popular web series, "Wise Bull." Jey plays the prominent young Tony Alaimo. A New York mafia poncho on the rise. 5th Dimensions have also recently brought out the short film, Travis, which has gained a lot of online popularity. Jey is studying the Harold Guskin technique, inspired by the late maestro James Gandolfini, and is set to write, direct and act in his companies latest short psychological thriller, "Awaken".
