Jessica Tillman is a black American actress. She is known for Atlanta, Season 2, in which she plays the role of Christina, Van's childhood friend. Her most recent work includes a recurring role on Reprisal as Camille and commercials such as, Biltmore Spring 2020 and voiceover for Duke Energy.Tillman was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is the daughter of Vickie Tillman a retired bank manager, and James Tillman, an entrepreneur and barber. Her family is African-American derived mostly from parts of West Africa with a mix of Irish, British, and Scandinavian ancestry.Tillman studied acting as a child at the Children's' Theatre of Charlotte. At the age of 5, she signed with the Jan Thompson Agency (JTA). She was featured in a Carowinds Amusement Park commercial and United Way Foundation print ad. with former basketball player Kurt Rambis. She studied three years of acting in high school and participated in a summer program at the Carolina Actors Studio Theatre (C.A.S.T.)She attended Winston-Salem State University graduating with honors and pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. with a major in Political Science minor in History and concentration in Public Administration. Later, she became a student at SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, VT and studied Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). She completed a student teacher internship at Manhattan International High School in NYC.Tillman studied acting at T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre (TSS) and graduated from the One Year Conservatory Program in May 2015. She performed in The Art of Dining, The Dining Room and The Rimers of Eldritch at TSS. Tillman also played Halima in Aladdin for the Galli Children's Theatre in the summer of 2015 in NYC.She is represented by JTA Talent, Inc. for the southeast region and is SAG eligible. Show less «
