Jessica took time away from TV to get a college degree and graduated in 2018, unlike her other family members. In 2019 Jessica made a few appearances on her families new show on WEtv, "Mama June: From Not To Hot" and "Mama June: Family Crisis".In February 2020 Jessica underwent a massive makeover. Weighing in at 234 lbs. and struggling with her weight for years, she opted to have weight loss surgery after offered the makeover by her manager Gina Rodriguez. Jessica had an Orbera Balloon inserted into her stomach, Liposuction and a tummy tuck by Beverly Hills Surgeons Dr Sam Kashani and Dr Michael K Obeng.
