Jessica Malka was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Early on, she appeared in various youth television programming like "Lassie" (YTV), "Watatatow" (SRC), and "11 Somerset" (Space/TQC) a double shoot - English and French - in which she was the series lead. In 2004, Jessica booked the exciting role of Marquise Lefrançois in the award-wining "La Peau Blanche" (Best Canadian First Feature, TIFF). On top of being featured on the cover of Canadian Front Film Festival (MOMA), she was hailed as playing her role with "..live-wire brazenness.." (variety.com). Following this role, Jessica worked in Quebec on shows like "Minuit Le Soir" (SRC), "Nos Étés" (TVA), and "Providence" (SRC) as well as completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from Concordia University.
