Jennifer McCabe

Jennifer was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and raised in Manhattan and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. She began watching theater at age 2, having grown up in a very theatrical and musical home and then finally stepped onto the stage at age 15. A serious athlete, Jennifer received a full scholarship to play college soccer, but quit the team a few years in to join the theater department. Shortly after receiving her MFA in Acting, Jennifer joined the unions and continued to act in theater, TV and film. In 1998, she started to teach acting and then shortly thereafter she began to direct. In 2009, Jennifer founded Jennifer McCabe Studios. Jennifer holds both Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor posts at NYU Tisch UGFTV, New School for Drama (COPA), Stonestreet Studios (NYU Tisch) and Lehman College where she teaches acting and directing.
