Jeffrey Scott Wolcott

Jeffrey Scott Wolcott is a professional pilot who changed career paths midstream to pursue a career in the performing arts and is now eligible for Screen Actors Guild membership. His most recent work is in one of Tyler Perry's episodic shows, "The HAVES and the HAVE NOTS!" His introduction to acting was studying Strasberg's method and he continues to advance his proficiency in various film and stage skills. Jeffrey's unique voice is deep and rich and it is common for people to inquire if he's the Motel Six voiceover talent.Originally from the West Coast, Jeffrey now makes his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Pursuing a career in entertainment was an easy transition for him. Early in his aviation career, Jeffrey was involved with a number of Southern rock bands in the 1980's, Reba McEntire in the 1990's, and later with one of the members of the Blue Collar comedy team. Jeffrey feels that his previous involvement with the entertainment business keeps him grounded.As a child, Jeffrey had two ambitions; one was becoming a pilot, the other, to be an actor. Obtaining his pilot's license at age 17, he is now qualified in several business jets with an Airline Transport Pilot Certification, or ATP. Having accomplished his dream as a professional aviator, Jeffrey felt the timing was perfect to go for the second.Jeffrey never meets a stranger without striking up a conversation. He contributes this to having traveled extensively throughout the USA, Europe, Mexico, Canada, South and Central America.
