Jeanné Michelle Kietzmann was born in South Africa. She begun her training in dance, drama and singing at the Cape Academy of Performing Arts at the age of 6. Her first acting job was a pilot film for America called Ambrose Fountain, directed by Amanda Evans, where she played a juvenile teenager.
