24:Legacy, Logan, Roots, Nashville and Greenleaf are a few examples of actor James Moses Black work. James, who studied at Central State University in Ohio and American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, considers himself as an actor flying below the radar in the tv and film world. James says,"Character actors have nomadic lives. The quicker you get in and perform your part in moving stories along, the more likely people will remember your talent and professionalism then they are most likely to call your name again".With over 70 television and film credits to his name, James continues to look forward to another chapter of his theatrical and movie career: Writing. "I have always wanted to tell the stories of people not only within my lifetime but other stories that were experience before me". James believes that there are stories still out there that are interesting, profitable and need to be told to all people so that our history together as people can be understood. "The human experience is the most intriguing part of life in motion pictures. It is derived from humans. Something we all can relate to".James believes that this career as an entertainer doesn't have a retirement date attached to it. Life lives on forever and the quicker you forget about retirement from something you love the sooner posthumous thoughts of reward will flee. " I am at the flow of a very rewarding place. Life. I get to experience it privately, imaginatively, publicly and vicariously. I just need to continually learn how to be a better person". It is an art that all performers must and to their repertoire.
