Jaime Hadwen was born in Rockhampton, Central Queensland in 1992 to parents Geoff and Pam Hadwen. She grew up in a small country town called Bouldercombe before moving to Rockhampton in 2006. After living in England for a year when she was 17, she moved to Sydney to study at the Australian Institute of Music and acquired her Bachelor of Music - majoring in Musical Theatre. Jaime has worked in children's entertainment since moving to Sydney, and worked for ABC's Giggle and Hoot live stage shows for 2 years. She also toured with Perform Educational Musicals for 2 years with their book week shows. Her musical theatre career started with Bring It On - The Musical (Supply Evolution) and Spring Awakening (StageTek). Her first television credit was playing a nurse in Love Child - season 2. Her big break came from being cast as 'Kira' in Xanadu, at the Hayes Theatre by Matthew Management, and followed that success playing Cinderella in the Bonnie Lythgoe Winter Pantomime Cinderella. The year 2017 bought her another role in the Bonnie Lythgoe Pantomimes, starring as Tinkerbell, in Peter Pan alongside Tim Maddren and Todd McKenny. In 2017 Jaime was cast in the World Premiere of Muriel's Wedding - The Musical, as Agnetha. The show was directed by Simon Phillips and starred Maggie McKenna, Justine Clarke and Garry Sweet. After the season at Sydney Theatre Company, Jaime was cast as Sandy in Grease with Royal Caribbean Intonational and toured the Caribbean and Europe. Jaime then returned to Australia to step into the high boots of Agnetha again in Muriel's Wedding - The Musical tour for 2019. In 2020, she showcased her own one woman show titled ONJ: The Cabaret at Claire's Kitchen in two sold out shows and played Cara on Back to The Rafters with Amazon and Channel 7. Show less «
