Jack Kenna

Paranormal Investigator, Technical Specialist, Writer/Author, and Public Figure. Jack is a member of two paranormal teams, S.P.I.R.I.T.S. of New England(TM) based in Winthrop, MA and San Diego Ghost Hunters based in San Diego, CA. Born in Troy, New York in January 1963, Jack grew up in an area rich in history, legends, documented haunted graveyards, historical buildings and Revolutionary War Battlefields. Jack's interest in the paranormal started at a very young age. This was driven by the fact that his mother had many experiences of her own which she often discussed with him. The home he grew up in, and now raises his own family in, also helped to peak his interest in the paranormal, in addition to his wife and their seven children it is also home to what he refers to as a friendly spirit which seems to keep an eye out for the family and the home. In 2004 his interest in the paranormal was rekindled by the TV series Ghost Hunters and the scientific investigation methods utilized by TAPS. These methods are very similar to the type of engineering and scientific methods that Jack has been using on a daily basis for the past thirty plus years in his career as a Senior Engineering Technician and project leader for the U.S. Department of the Army. In 2009 he was made a full member of the paranormal team S.P.I.R.I.T.S. of New England based in Winthrop, MA which was founded his friends Ms. Ellen MacNeil, Beck Gann and Sharon Koogler. Beyond his technical expertise, Jack brings to his team his video and audio skills from six years of running his own part-time videography business, as well as his computer and website design skills from seven years of running his own part-time computer repair, training and web design business. Since 2011 Jack has also been writing paranormal articles and stories for Paranormal Underground Magazine as a regular contributor. Jack is also working on his first book about the investigations of his east coast team S.P.I.R.I.T.S. of New England, as well as a comic book series also based on the team and their investigations. In 2014 he first appeared on episode 106, When Spirits Talk, of the new television reality series Paranormal Survivor produced by Our House Media (OHM) located in Toronto, Canada, and which premiered in the summer of 2015 on U.S. cable network Destination America. Jack also appeared in numerous episodes of Season 2 in which another client case of S.P.I.R.I.T.S. of New England was featured and as one of the shows Paranormal Experts.
