Ilaria Malvezzi is a filmmaker and actress from Italy, based in New York City. After a background as a contemporary dancer/physical theater performer, she moved to USA, where she completed the two years conservatory acting program at William Esper Studio, under the mentorship of Suzanne Esper. Since then, Ilaria has been dedicating her career to independent cinema, both as actress, and as a content creator. She wrote and produced three award winner short films: the experimental film "Unvoiced" directed by Jeremiah Kipp (2017), the drama "Open" directed by DT Sheridan (2018), and the thriller film noir "Sins" directed by Jeremiah Kipp (2020). Ilaria wrote the feature film version of "Sins", which is in pre production (2021), in collaboration with producer Marc Henry Johnson (Writer/Creator of TV Show "The Deuce"). In Spring 2018, she also had the pleasure to start working as TV correspondent for Podcast Show "No Rest For The Weekend" by Jason Godbay, Ilaria is writing her second feature film "A Rose Is A Rose" (2021) a drama based on a true story. She is also working with writer Elisa Guidelli and Open Gate Entertainment on the TV Pilot "Matilda of Tuscany", an Historical Drama adapted from Elisa Guidelli's published book "Matilda's Novel".
