A New Orleans native, Ian Vogt grew up the younger of two boys in Uptown, blocks from the streetcars of St. Charles Avenue. A childhood filled with baseball, shrimp boating, gumbo, and Catholic schools naturally led Ian to acting while his brother joined the Secret Service.Now in Los Angeles, Ian continues to act and direct for the stage, as well as appearing in film, television shows and national commercials. His FedEx/Kinkos spot was named one of TBS's Funniest Commercials of the year and some of his TV guest appearances include The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, Scrubs and Everwood. His most recent appearance was on the ABC Family series Bunheads.Expanding his storytelling duties to include writing, directing and producing, Ian developed the web series, The Aftermooners: a comedic take on what love really looks like after the honeymoon phase.Ian resides in Studio City with his wife, writer Pang-Ni Landrum, and young son.
