Hope Marie Jordan was born in Sumpter, SC to Candice Perlov and her late father, Bruce Jordan. She now resides in a quaint town in the mountains of North Carolina. Her roots are a beautiful blend of Russian, Austrian, Jewish, Italian and German.Hope's freshman year in high school was instrumental in introducing her to the world of acting and theatre. Hope spent most of her time behind the scenes of theatre productions, where she was doing everything from tech, lights, sound, makeup, and costume design. She loved it all, but would soon come out from behind the scenes and curtains to center stage, which is when she would audition for, and land roles in productions, such as "The Crucible," and "It's Not You, It's Me." It would be Hope's last performance of her high school career that would prove pivotal for Hope, and her decision to pursue acting as a profession. She was chosen to interpret the character of Babette in the musical version of "Beauty and the Beast," which would not only earn her the title of "Best Supporting Actress in a Musical," but also "The Hope Award," which her high school actually named after her.Hope's involvement in acting didn't end with the sound of the school bell. She was also enrolled in Barbizon, a modeling and acting school that would introduce her to her first agency. While at Barbizon, she was selected to be a part of an event called "Showcase Niagara," where she took home first place in the Commercial Division of the competition and was also awarded a partial scholarship to the highly acclaimed "New York Film Academy," in none other than New York City. When Hope is not at a photo shoot, casting call, creating an audition reel or preparing for an audition, this former student, elects to spend her time teaching at her local Barbizon. She enjoys guiding and inspiring young men and women to pursue their dreams, just as she continues to pursue her own and is very excited to see where the world of entertainment leads her. Show less «
