Helen Hayden

Helen Hayden was born in Hong Kong to Canadian parents. Raised in White Rock, British Columbia - suburb of Vancouver - Hayden began acting as a child as a member of the Surrey Young People's Theatre Company and other youth community theatre groups. After returning home from a high school semester abroad in Australia, Helen decided to pursue her acting career professionally by first attended Vancouver Film School. Seeking more extensive and demanding training, Hayden auditioned for esteemed acting conservatories in New York and ultimately attended Circle In The Square Theatre School's two-year professional workshop on Broadway.After graduation, Hayden traveled extensively, writing a narrative lifestyle blog (a Pilot's Daughter), which is now reportedly being developed into a feature film.After almost three years of travel and writing, Hayden returned to her native Canada to pursue a career in film and television.Hayden resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has worked on multiple independent Canadian short and feature films and will be having her television debut in the prime-time hit ABC television series, Designated Survivor. Show less «
