Glen Solomon Wade II is an Alternative Hip Hop artist, actor and songwriter. Wade II lived in Dixie County as a child, but grew up in Belle Glade, FL commonly referred to as "Muck City." He lettered in football, basketball and wrestling. In 2003, Wade II was elected to the 1st Team All Area in the Palm Beach Post for his hard-hitting and aggressive style of play at Free Safety.Later that year he received the Enforcer Award. He received a football scholarship to a school in Illinois. Although he played as a true freshman at corner back and on all special teams. He left college after a year due to multiple incidents (fights and arguing with coaches) and being on the verge of being kicked off of the team for disciplinary reasons.CareerAfter working various jobs, Wade II became a Bouncer and began working with several security companies in Tallahassee, FL. While working on field security for NBC, he also worked closely with Coach Bobby Bowden. In search of more opportunity Wade II, finally took heed to his Mother's advice, who said " You need to take that aggression and get paid for it. Come on out." His Mother Wyteria, who was a Corrections Officer for over twenty years and retired. Wade II began his career in Corrections at age 22 in South Florida. With his street smarts, attention to detail, ability to read body language and muscular stature, he excelled quickly and was promoted to K9 officer at age 24 working for the Inspector General's office. He relocated to Gainesville, FL in 2009 to be closer to his Mother, who was recovering from a brain aneurysm. In Gainesville, he worked for the sheriff's office and was a part of the special forces team during his time there. He took classes on his off days for nine months to become a Deputy and began executing warrants. He left Law Enforcement in December 2012 to pursue acting.ActingAfter deciding to pursue acting with nothing but talent, determination and his quote "If you got IT, it don't matter." Wade II appeared in several independent films and showed his acting skills in a variety of roles. He booked his first major role as Drug Lord Neil Rene on the show FBI: Criminal Pursuit "Taken by Force." The show aired on May 13,2013 on Investigation Discovery (ID).MusicGrowing up in Florida, Wade II was influenced by all genres of music. But the Electro-Funk, Hip Hop and Miami Bass were always his favorites. You can hear these influences throughout his music. Wade II has always had the ability to freestyle and rap. But in late 2013, he began working on his music and taking a break from acting. He released his promo single "Here We Go Again" on February 10, 2014.With his promo single, "Here We Go Again," which will be used for the 2016 Olympic Games, and his promo single, "Latin Luv," Wade II has received praise and support both domestically and internationally.His success, thus far, is a huge feat for even the most successful of artists, but even more so for a new and emerging one.Moreover, Wade II is sure to deliver the world a sound that will attract even the most musically inclined person; his songs will undoubtedly keep you moving, wherever you may be.His single, "Latin Luv" is a mixture of Bachata and Hip-hop.
