Born in Rome on 29 May 1926, he trained with the Avanspettacolo and Rivista in the early forties and fifties. He made his stage debut in 1944, at the Teatro Savoia in Rome. It was a very recognizable face of Italian comedy, becoming a prolific character, ranging from the cinema, from photo stories to theater. At the beginning of his career he was called with the art name of ''Giulio Massimi'', truncating his real surname which he will then return to use entirely in cinema. Comedian actor, formed with the entertainment held in cabaret, Giulio Massimini has participated in almost all the most successful comedies of Italian cinema from 70s to 90s, often with small but significant roles.
