Gelin DiGennaro

Gelin was born and raised in the suburban area of Cavite City, Philippines. She is the youngest out of 2 siblings. After her dad retired from the U.S. Navy, her parents decided to move back to their native country. She was always been the comedian and the star of the family. She loves entertaining people. She even had her own choreography sessions at the neighborhood she grew up in where she will put together shows on special occasions. Her parents highly encouraged her and her sisters to be involved in different sorts of activities; where at a very young age of 5, she started playing the piano and continued for 11 years. She was also a mezzo-soprano at her Catholic School Choral Group.When she started high school she joined her Dance and Drama club where she became an active participant in drama department and starred in several theatrical productions. She has always been involved in acting and the only thing that remained constant throughout the years.Gelin and her family now reside in Florida area where she works as an actress mainly in GA, NC, AR, KY, MS, LA and AL markets. Her first lead role came in 2006 for a short movie, Flawed Proposal. Her most recent film appearances were on Let's be Cops and Anchorman: The Legend Continues. She also booked her very first principal role for a National Commercial for Nationwide Insurance in 2010.In her free time, Gelin enjoys her bicycle riding, weight lifting, and reading her favorite books like Margie Haber's "How to get the Part without falling apart" and Mike Dooley's "Leveraging the Universe". She is also a movie enthusiast, she loves throwing movie night get together with her friends.She will be working on her new lead role as Vanessa in the Actor Factor web series beginning fall of 2013.
