Gayle Hooker

With over 20 years in the stunt profession, Gayle began her career in the entertainment industry as a commercial producer in San Diego after graduating from UCSD. Following up on a job offer in development for feature films, she moved to L.A. and worked for studios including Twentieth Century Fox. Gayle returned to the production world as a script supervisor for the leading commercial production companies in the late 80's where she met her husband, Buddy Joe Hooker. She joined him in the stunt business as a performer and actress until she took on the role of mother to their twin sons and resumed her career behind the camera as Director of Development for Showcase Entertainment. As soon as the kids could join their parents in the stunt business at the ripe age of 6, Gayle returned to stuntwork and acting where she continues to perform in numerous TV shows and features. Today, Gayle remains active in the business of development and distribution for independent films and is writing her first book. Show less «
