Garion Dowds

Garion was born into an acting family: both his father (Ashley Dowds) and his brother (Connor Dowds) are actors and his mother is a Drama teacher. He studied Drama at school and was top practical student in his final year. At school he played Captain Tempest in Return to the Forbidden Planet, Oedipus in Oedipus the King and Kenickie in Grease. His skills include singing, dance and guitar. Garion is lead vocalist and lyricist for his band Mullen Avenue. He is also a strong swimmer and has played provincial water polo. On SABC TV Garion has been seen as Gabriel in Soul Buddyz Series 5 and as Kyle in Generations The Legacy. Garion is represented by MLA and has been performing professionally since the age of ten.
