Korean-Canadian professional wrestler known for her work for WWE and TNA. She attended secondary school at York Memorial Collegiate Institute. She was a natural athlete and participated in many sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, badminton. Gail Kim enrolled in the University of Toronto and majored in kinesiology (the science of human movement). She transferred to Ryerson University and changed her major to nutrition. Trained under El Fuego, Fit Finlay and Ron Hutchinson and debuted in December 2000 under a mask as La Felina. Under this gimmick, she competed for the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation in Toronto, Northern Championship Wrestling in Quebec, the Insane Wrestling Federation in Detroit, Border City Wrestling in Toronto, and for Wild Samoan Afa's WXW promotion in Pennsylvania. Switching to her own name, she signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2002 and wrestled a series of bra and panties matches with Dawn Marie on the SmackDown! house show circuit. Made her TV debut in a battle royal for the WWE Women's Title on the June 30, 2003 "WWE RAW," helping Victoria eliminate Trish Stratus and then eliminating Victoria herself to win the match and the title. Turned heel and joined Molly Holly in her feud with Trish Stratus. Made her PPV debut teaming with Molly in a loss to Lita and Trish Stratus at "WWE Unforgiven 2003." Jumped to TNA in 2006 and debuted in a loss to Traci Brooks at "TNA Hardcore War" on June 9, 2006. Over her various runs in TNA, she has held the TNA Knockouts Title six times, matched only by Angelina Love, and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title once with Madison Rayne. She has also competed for many other promotions, including Toryumon Mexico, Absolute Intense Wrestling, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, British Championship Wrestling, Imperial Wrestling Revolution (Oklahoma, where she became the inaugural IWR Diamond Champion), Association Biterroise de Catch (France, where she has held the ABC Women's Champion) and more.
