Frederick Banks Du Rietz started his career as an actor at the age of 18, having won the Hugo Weaving award for his stage performance of The Tribulations of Abacus Christy, written by Brett Heath. After graduating in 2016, Fred continued to seek further education and found it at the Academy of Film, Theatre and Television (AFTT). During his time at AFTT, Fred appeared in his first speaking debut on ABC's Friday on My Mind, Directed by Matthew Saville in 2017.In 2018, Fred worked alongside Anna Torv, Danielle Cormack and Rob Collins in Secret City: Under the Eagle, Directed by Tony Krawitz and Daniel Nettheim. Later in the year, Fred worked alongside Hal and Jeremy Cumpston in the upcoming film Bilched, touring Australia in 2019. Show less «
