Frances grew up in Leeds, working with an agent set in West Yorkshire. Throughout her primary school she took part in many extra curricular, which included amateur theatre, operas, professional Yorkshire television such as 'The Royal' in which she played 'Janey Woodbridge', and eventually landed the roles in UK touring musical theatre shows including 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' where she played 'Jemima Potts' alongside Kevin Kennedy and Ken Morley. For around a period of 6-8 months, the 11 year old appeared as regular role 'Prudence Bloomfield' in popular daytime soap 'Emmerdale'. Moving to London with her family shortly after, she was then able to audition and get a place at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, which was the start of her new chapter as an actress, also developing a new love for dance and singing. Almost immediately, Frances was working on a couple episodes of Doctor Who, various adverts, and then landed the role of 'Louisa' in the UK tour of Sound of Music, which I believe she was in for just under a year (yet to be confirmed). Following this she then was the lead role in the movie 'Taken', 2013, playing Amanda (Milly) Dowler, and just a few months later landed her most famous role to date 'Poppy' in Nickelodeon's KCA award-winning House Of Anubis. 2 years later she had finished her run of the show, started attending a college in Hertfordshire to have further acting training. Since then she has notably been focusing primarily on her training, but has been reported to be working in London's West End with the likes of the Sherman bro's on a new musical. Show less «
