Erik Rodriguez was born in New York in 1979. At the his first year his mother took him to Puerto Rico where he grew. Out of high school at 16, began college wanting o become a Psychologist, realizing this was not for him, two years later, left his house on the west side of the island to the capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan, and started studies at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon, on Humanities, getting his B.A. on Drama, acting and directing. This actor, comedian, and poet got a Scholarship for Prima del Teatro in Pisa, Italia, where he would take workshops and classes on writing, acting and directing. Later he fell in love with Improvisational Theater. Taught by Rigoberto "Gigio" Giraldo, and as his assistant, Erik became a lifetime student/teacher of the Improv Discipline. Traveling around the world doing Improv shows in English and Spanish, also giving workshops, training with the best Improv schools from Peru, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Boston and also one of the responsibles for 4 of the first International Improv Festivals of Puerto Rico. Erik also has a music project called Sensa Testa where he does everything from computer, synths and mixing to distributing and selling his work. Show less «
