Born in a artists family, Er-Yang's father was a director for stage play, and mother is a Peking Opera actress.Before his graduation from Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1991, Er-Yang has shown his confidence and talent in acting on the stage. The leading role Zeng Tai he played in his graduation play "Beijing Ren" had impressed professors and fellow students. He started to gain appearance in many famous Chinese directors's works such as He Qun, Wu Tian-Ming, Chen Jia-Lin right after graduation.Although his has much more TV drama works than films, each role he played always impressed people a lot.
