Emily Shenaut

Emily Shenaut was born in Berkeley, California, moving a few hours inland to Davis, CA at 4 years old. The daughter of two academics, her innate love for performing led her first to throw herself into ballet. She dedicated herself to this craft full time through her high school years, which led her to a career dancing on the East Coast, first with the Richmond Ballet and then at First State Ballet Theatre in Delaware. While dancing, Emily also returned to school at University of Delaware and received a B.A. in Psychology. After a number of rewarding years, and dancing many of the greatest roles in classical ballet, Emily felt pulled to explore her call for story-telling in a different art-form. This led her to start taking acting classes and working on projects as an actor first in Philadelphia, then Las Vegas, and finally making her way to Los Angeles. Now based out of East Hollywood, Emily is dedicated to the craft of TV/film acting, and has deeply enjoyed every on-set experience she's had. Show less «
