I don't see myself as anyone very special. I think most of my pianist friends are at least as adventurous as me, and they learn a lot more repertoire. I'm very lucky to be in this profession, and I'm as curious as anyone else. But I don't think I do anything of tremendous depths in terms of research into performance practice.
