Elizabeth Lazan was born in Singapore, Asia, of Chinese and Italian/English descent. Her mother is Australian, and she moved to Melbourne where she graduated from Monash University with an Arts/Media degree. She returned to Singapore and worked in Film, TV and Theatre there. She starred in both English and Mandarin projects. She then moved to New York City to train at The William Esper Studio with the acclaimed Bill Esper.
