Eileen Faxas is an American actor of Cuban origin born and raised bilingual next door to the Florida Everglades. After graduating from the University of Miami with majors in Broadcast Journalism and Music, Eileen pursued television journalism, working throughout the U.S. and winning three Emmy Awards and industry acclaim for her reporting. She made the switch into acting, touring North America with the Broadway tour of Mamma Mia! Equally at home on the stage or on a set, Eileen has acted in New York theater and on TV shows as well as commercials in both English & Spanish. Her big screen debut came when Director Jason Reitman personally selected her for a role in Labor Day. In a case of art imitating life, Eileen was tapped to play a part she knows well...newswoman.
