Diana Huey is a Seattle based Japanese-American actor and singer. She has done extensive work in the theater {notable theaters: 5th Avenue Theatre (Seattle), ACT Theatre (Seattle), Village Theatre (Seattle), Milwaukee Repertory Theater (Milwaukee), First Stage Children's Theater (Milwaukee), New World Stages (New York)}. She has a passion for new works and contemporary musical theater and has worked in many New Works Festivals and shows with Seattle-based Village Theatre, Contemporary Classics and New York's National Alliance of Musical Theatre Festival to name a few.She grew up in Mukilteo, WA and was always very involved with the arts in school. Her senior year of high school, she was nominated by the 5th Avenue Theatre for "Best Leading Actress in a Musical" for her portrayal of "Eponine" in Kamiak High School's production of "Les Mierables". She was nominated and won various other singing and acting awards and competitions across the state of Washington throughout her high school career.After high school, she continued her arts education by attending Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where she earned a BFA in Theater with an emphasis in the Performing Arts, with honors in 2008. After college, she was accepted into the intensive Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Acting Internship Program from the 2008-2009 season.After completing her internship, Diana returned to Seattle where she has been working as an actor in both theater and film (commercial representation: Topo Swope Talent Agency).
