Well-schooled in acting techniques, improv and writing, David shines as a variety of characters, whether in front of the camera or behind a microphone doing voice-over.Yow's 'great face', as David Lynch puts it, has landed him film roles that are sick and twisted as a murderous fiend (Bleed, Al's Beef, All Roads Lead), roles as innocuous as a nurse (High & Outside) or retired jockey (Sunday Punch) and parts that are creepy and weird (Southbound, Entertainment).Most recently Yow booked and shot a strong supporting role as "Marshall" in Macon Blair's 'I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore' alongside, Elijah Wood, Jane Levy and Melanie Lynskey. He was just tapped for another supporting role in David Robert Mitchell's 'Under the Silver Lake' with Jimmi Simpson, Andrew Garfield, Riley Keough and Topher Grace, as "The Homeless King".Mr. Yow is known across the globe as the fiercely passionate lead singer for his band The Jesus Lizard. Legendary psychologist Timothy Leary once said, "Yow makes Elvis Presley look like mild picante sauce". Yoko Ono requested that David sing with her and Sean Lennon at Chicago's Park West theatre.
