David Collicott

Born in Plymouth, Devon, David worked as a technician on a variety of shows at The Atheneum, Globe and ABC Theatres and at the Hoe Theatre on summer and pantomime seasons while studying at school. He was a lighting technician for several band performances at venues around the city; including Supertramp, The Glitter Band, Sparks and Leo Sayer. He took part in a number of school plays and shows both on and backstage. Moving to St Paul's College in Cheltenham he continued to work on student and external company productions and undertook training in Theatre and Television production; developing his performing and technical skills. His work as a Police trainer gave him the opportunity to continue with off screen production of training videos. Years on his daughter, Alexa, auditioned for a part in Alice Through the Looking Glass and he volunteered for backstage support. This led to onstage, 'camouflaged' appearances and a year later a full role in Richard III. Since 2012 David has worked as a background artiste on various TV and feature films as well as student projects. He has been an investor in a number of feature films. Show less «
