David Astone

David Armando Astone was born in Perth, Western Australia, on March 27th. He was raised between Perth and Sicily, Italy and settled in Perth around the age of 10. In school he was the class clown, always performing for cheers and laughter from his classmates. This kept him constantly in the hot seat.Astone began his athletic career by becoming a soccer player, playing in various teams such as Perth Italia. Upon entering high school, he studied forms of martial arts, obtaining his junior black belt in the Japanese Karate form Black Panther. With his sharpened guidance, he succeeded in winning tournaments, continuing his journey in winning the Western Australian Karate Championship. Astone began to mature in his studies with the Southern Korean art style of Olympic Tae Kwon Do. Through the fruits of his labors he was awarded his 2nd degree black belt and prevailed triumphant in the Melbourne Championship.Astone is a rock & roll drummer and has played in various bands in Perth. Additionally he trained in dancing schools and went on to perform in various dance troupes such as 'West Coast Hard Bodies' in his hometown of Perth. He remained absorbed with many facets of art.Astone was awarded male model of the year. This led to the path of auditioning for the big hit show 'Thunder From Down Under' which he succeeded in. He toured the world performing on stages for thousands of people. The show grew in popularity and grounded a permanent foundation in Las Vegas. Vegas became the new home for Astone where he appeared on calendars, DVD's, billboards, and even was graced by having his picture placed on a 5 dollar casino chips from Excalibur casino.Astone moved to Hollywood in December 2008 to take his goals to the next level, becoming an action film star. Astone landed his first role as 'Buffy', the zombie track teammate in the independent film 'Zombie Ed'. His sex appeal won him the role as 'The Eye Candy' in the short 'Bora S.: Private Eye Candy'. His outrageous class clown antics won him the role of 'Demetri's Henchman' in the short 'L.A. Vampire'. In fact, Astone was auditioning for the part of 'Demetri' when the writer decided his performance was so unfathomable that he decided to write him into the script as 'Demetri's Henchman'. His personality has put him at the top of the ongoing 'Burner Balm' competition. He is attending stunt director Art Camacho and Grand Master Byong's stunt school as he prepares for his action film debut. Show less «
