Daryn Hinton grew up 'Hollywood' on Bel Air Road in Los Angeles. Her father, Ed Hinton was a handsome actor and her mother, Marilynn Hinton packaged films and was renowned for her unique, star studded 'Hollywood' theme parties. The line between fantasy and reality was blurred as a young girl who started acting at age 1. Even the Hinton's home was like a Tarzan movie set with a swimming pool, exotic waterfall and tikis in their living room amid a jungle setting with an array of wild animal pets.Daryn was raised amongst the legendary stars such as Tyrone Power who named her 'Daryn' and her Godmother Jane Russell along with her brother's Godfather Charlton Heston. Her brother Darby, a working actor, became a child star at age 6 playing Daniel Boone's son Israel on the popular Daniel Boone TV show.At 15, Daryn happily quit acting and became interested in being behind the camera. Soon after that, she became part of the crew of the 'Don Ho TV Show' in Hawai'i. In her 20's, she promoted an emerging new film festival at the Canne Film Festival on the yacht 'The Jolly Joker' where she supervised a Dick Clark TV shoot. In the 80's she produced the television pilot for the first exercise show shot on location using the 'Magnum PI' TV show's second unit crew. The star Gilad Janklowicz developed the show 'Bodies in Motion' into a world wide success.Daryn managed three bands in the 80's-90's who all did things that have never been done before; start a musical movement that broke viewing records on MTV, major labels signing her band as a genre they had never signed before and bringing the very first Christian music into Russia before the wall came down. She likes to do things that haven't been done before.Daryn's love for the film industry and music industry are what have led her to marry the two with this current project 'Hell's Half Acre', a miniature music motion picture as she calls it. It is along the lines of a silent movie with a music narrative. She hand picked her award winning songwriter to paint the picture and her unique crew and cast to create 'a new thing'. Show less «
