Dara McIntosh

Dara McIntosh is an actress, known for Sportsworld (2006), E! News (2009) and Hi-Jinks (2005). She is also a journalist and global television presenter. She has worked in sports as a sideline reporter, a domestic studio anchor, and as an American anchor for international networks overseas. Dara has worked as a celebrity correspondent covering movie premieres and red carpet events. She has hosted a radio pilot for the NYC affiliate of NPR called The Express. She began her on-camera career as a teenager when she won an open competition to host a youth talk show. She followed that path in college working for TV networks during summer breaks. Her first venture into acting came when she was chosen for a music video in Atlanta while working her network internship. That same summer, she'd be randomly selected for a new hair campaign in which she joined a group of ladies gracing various box covers.Alongside her good friend, a writer and director of non-cinematic scripts, Dara helped with fundraising and landed a role in two of her Off-Broadway projects, but would never take the stage. Dara would continue her TV broadcast career while auditioning for side gigs as as an actress.In the community Dara volunteers to tutor and mentor NYC youth with various organizations while helping New York's homeless shelters for women and children.
