D 'Anthony or "D" landed his first on-screen appearance while on vacation in New Orleans when he snuck on the set of Queen Latifah's " Last Holiday" and pretended to be an extra. New Orleans may have been the setting for his "debut" but it was in the small town of Humble, Texas where D'Anthony grew up and fell in love with film and television. While attending Texas State University and pursuing a degree in Theatre & Mass Communication, he signed with a local talent agency and landed a role in the Independent feature, "Kabluey," with Lisa Kudrow. Not soon after, came his first TV debut opposite Connie Britton, as Anton on NBC's "Friday Night Lights." Anton was a big role for D'Anthony but he is probably most recognized for his unforgettable cameo as the Light Skinned Airport Security Guard in "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay." After filming his first three major roles, he graduated from Texas State University and drove to Los Angeles with $300 in his pocket. Initially couch-surfing and living in his car he eventually saved up enough money to stay in weekly motels. D'Anthony was determined to make it. A few months after moving he signed with a prominent Hollywood talent agency and within no time he scored a role in "Easy A," opposite Emma Stone as a jock who has it out for her. From there he began booking guest starring roles on shows such as "CSI: NY," "NCIS," "House of Payne," MTV's "Awkward," and HBO's "Luck," opposite Dustin Hoffman. Most recently, D'Anthony guest starred on "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" in 'The Gang Misses the Boat'. He also, behind the scenes has been working closely with Grammy nominated Music Producer Ron Aniello. D'Anthony's biggest music accomplishment to date is writing on Shania Twain's 2017 comeback album, 'Triumphant' where he lent his pen to the song "Swinging With My Eyes Closed." There's a bright future ahead for this young man. Show less «
