Born "Daniel James Lenihan" in West London, and raised in Chessington, Danny began his career in 1990, as a photojournalist at London News Service Press Agency in Exmouth Market, Farringdon. Danny went on to establish himself as a press photographer, eventually working for Reuters, Mirror Group Newspapers, News International, Press Association, Alpha, Big Pictures, Getty, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent and Observer Group Newspapers.Danny spent much of his career photographing the Royal Family, Politicians and Celebrities across the UK, and then moved into football, spending his weekends in London at Selhurst Park, Loftus Road, Highbury, White Hart Lane, Griffin Park, Craven Cottage and Plough Lane.In 1997 Danny's career took a different direction, when he fell in love with stand up comedy and acting. He went on to establish himself as one of the UK's most sought after MC's, under the guise "Danny James", gigging around the world. A regular at The Comedy Store London & Manchester, Jongleurs across the UK, two European Tours, two US Tours, four films, hundreds of TV shows, and appearances at Edinburgh & New York Comedy Festivals. Danny was also featured twice in Rufus Hound's book, Stand Up Put Downs.Now retired from full time stand-up, Danny is an award-winning product designer.
