Dani Behr began her career in London, England, where she was born and raised. She started dancing at the young age of three, always knowing she wanted to perform. Years later at the age of 14, she signed her first big music contract with WEA, whilst attending one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the UK. During her two-year music career in the all-girl pop band, Faith Hope & Charity, Behr realized it would be more interesting and exciting introducing the band, instead of being the performer. At 16, Behr's realization became reality, when she was chosen from thousands of hopefuls to host what became one of the highest-rated late night shows on British TV, The Word (1990). The show gained cult status, as did Dani, and made her into an overnight star. After 5 years on The Word (1990), her captivating personality, great interviewing skills and her effortless ability for live-TV has enabled Behr to host over 30 shows all over the UK and US networks. All ranging from morning to prime-time to late-night and even producing a few on the way. She has diversified into radio, hosting a daily 4-hr live drive-time show on Kiss FM, gone back to her acting roots and taken to the stage in London's West-End for "Moby Dick" and appeared in "The Vagina Monologues" at the Old Vic, London with 'Cate Blanchett', Kate Winslet and Melanie Griffith and, again, at Madison Square Gardens with Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda and Glenn Close. Her acting career has featured many roles in TV sitcoms and British movies, including Rancid Aluminium (2000) (with Joseph Fiennes and Rhys Ifans) and Goodbye Charlie Bright (2001) (with Paul Nicholls). Alongside all of the above, she has one of the most recognizable voices in the UK, having a successful 15-year career in voice-overs. Recording for TV & Radio commercials, animation, trailers, video games and so much more. She regularly hosts award ceremonies, charity events, auctions, corporate videos and events. In 2002, Maxim named Behr "Best Television Presenter of 2002". In 2003, she moved to Los Angeles, California and was seen as a regular host on Extra (1994) for NBC, Boy Meets Boy (2003) for Bravo/ NBC and The Littlest Groom (2004) for FOX and much more. At the end of 2005, Dani and her husband, Carl Harwin, welcomed their first child, Coco Harwin, into the world and, in 2006, the family relocated to Sydney, Australia. Show less «
