With a strong interest in storytelling and a fascination with the screen and performing arts throughout his youth, Dawson became a member of the SGCNZ Young Shakespeare Company in 2004 and has since featured in various theatrical, film, and television productions. He is most notably known for his supporting role in the initial season's of kiwi television hit "Outrageous Fortune".
