When you are working in the field of EMS, you must realize that you are entrusted with the lives of people. There is no other profession in the entire world where you are welcomed into a strangers home to render medical care to them because they dialed three digits on their phone. This is not something that I take lightly. You have to be the best you can be all of the time. Period. There is no room for mediocracy. And it is your responsibility as a healthcare provider to ensure that you avoid even the appearance of impropriety. Your actions, positive or negative, on the clock or off, reflect upon the entire profession. Don't let us down. Show less «
