Actress, writer and producer, Christina Dixon began training for her career in the arts/media while attending high school. Enrolled in a prestigious Ontario dramatic arts program, Christina realized her immense love and natural talent for acting, writing and producing. Not yet courageous enough to leap into the arts professionally, Christina turned her creative energy towards the advertising industry, and shortly after graduating College, she began working for one of the biggest ad agencies worldwide. Having found herself fulfilling upon all of her career goals before the age of 30, Christina decided it was time to take that uncertain leap into the arts and turn her focus back to her passion for performing and creating. In the short time since shifting back to her roots, Christina has formed her own independent film production company, Tigerlind Films (named in part after her grandfather, Hezekiah Lindsay, and his historic company, Tiger Transport), dedicated to producing progressive and transformative stories addressing individual and social issues. Winner of the 2012 National CBC Instant Pitch Competition, Christina was awarded top honor for her documentary idea 'One Drop', and featured on CBC programming, sharing her views on interracial and intercultural experiences. She has independently produced two short film projects, begun development on her documentary 'One Drop' and is in the process of writing her first feature length screenplay. Now a regular commercial and television actress, Christina's love of performing has translated into a successful rising on-screen career. Show less «
