"A director is a storyteller. Using the words the writers provide, the director then takes those words and puts them into a specific location. And then how the actors interpret it, placement of the camera, the lighting, the movement of the characters, the movement of the camera, consistent themes throughout; it's really through the director's eyes that you see the story unfolding."
