Chloë Bellande is an award-winning screenwriter, Director and editor born in Montreal, Canada. She has a BA in Arts and Modern Languages from Concordia University. Her body of work includes self-financed features and shorts; mostly crime dramas and thrillers. She has published over 60 articles in the Montreal Times weekly paper, on entertainment and arts topics. She also served as a a member of the Jury panel for various Film Festivals in Canada and the United States. In 2012, her script for "While The Village Sleeps" won Best International Screenplay at the Academy Awards Qualifying Film Festival, Rhode Island Int'l Film Festival. That same year, the movie trailer cut from her sizzle reel movie was a runner up at the 16th Hollywood Discovery Awards. She lost to the movie trailer of Les Misérables, with Hugh Jackman and Russel Crowe. Later on in 2016, the script was selected as a Top 10 Finalist for the La Costa REEL Pitch Competition, in Carlsbad, California, and she was invited to pitch her story in front of established executive producers. Chloe also won several award nominations for her screenplay "Will Of Fortune", which she shot in New York and screened at the 67th Cannes Film Festival, at the Short Film Corner.In 2016, she won the Latin Canada Award for Best Director/Producer for her sustained achievements in the entertainment industry. Chloe now resides in Los Angeles after becoming a US Permanent Resident based on her Extraordinary Abilities in Motion Pictures and TV Industry. Show less «
