Chance James Nichols is an actor, and Emmy Award winning comedian, and writer from Springfield, Missouri. He fell in love with making people laugh at the age of three when his grandfather showed him the Jim Carrey movie The Mask and he has been hooked on performing ever since. As a stage actor, his favorite role to date has been playing Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Missouri State University, where he is in his senior year in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting program. On screen he can be seen playing the role of Geminski in the 2014 horror film Treehouse available on Hulu and he is a regular performer as well as staff writer for the regionally syndicated, Emmy Award winning late night television show The Mystery Hour. He received a Mid-America Emmy award in 2016 for his help in creating the viral video hit "Instagram Husband" which has been viewed on YouTube more than 5 million times. As a comedian, Chance has performed stand up comedy and Improv all across the country, most notably taking part in the Bellwether Improv festival in Columbus, Ohio, and The College Improv Tournament. He is also a founding member of the College Improv Productions 2015 top 40 nationally ranked team "Watch Party" and currently serves as President of Missouri State Improv, performing in weekly Long Form Improv shows.
