Carys Eleri

Carys is a Welsh born actress and singer and works mostly within Wales. Born Carys Eleri Evans in west Wales, she is a fluent Welsh speaker. Her acting career started in 2004 when she earned a two year contract as a resident actor with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, which is the Welsh language National Theatre of Wales. Since then, she has worked as a freelance actress for many theatre, television and film companies including the BBC, The Asylum, National Theatre Wales and Boomerang. She is an accomplished singer singing in many different styles depending on the projects she faces from musical theatre to classical, rock, jazz and pop. She has one sister, Nia Medi (Evans) who works in Radio as a broadcaster for BBC Radio Cymru. Show less «
