Carter "Roc" Mangan Jr. is a music producer, musician and sound engineer from Newark, NJ. Carter took up piano at the early age of 7, but traded the keys for guitar by 13. In Carter's hometown high-school, Newark Tech Career Center, he took music production classes taught by well-known house music artist CeCe Rogers, and later went on to The Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan, NY.Carter does music, and audio production work for film, television, artist and other media. Carter has music placed in many TV shows across many networks including Showtime, HBO, MTV, VH1, E!, Oxygen, BET, Bravo,The Travel Channel, Hulu, and Netflix. He has worked on music for the feature film "Gimme Shelter" starring Vanessa Hudgens and "UGLY: A Short Film, which was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival and The American Black Film Festival in 2016. Carter has also done production work with music producers Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot, The LOX (D Block), Dyce Payne (D Block), Pamela Long (TOTAL), Mr. Wonder (Mary J.
