Camille James Harman (aka Camille Meaux, Camille James) is known for her role as Mary Matalin in Vice (2018), directed by Adam McKay. She was born Camille Ann James in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was adopted by her maternal aunt and uncle at age four and given the name Camille Ann Meaux. Harman grew up in New Orleans and Lafayette, Louisiana. She attended Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana with Salma Hayek. She began acting in community theater while at college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette), where she earned a Bachelor of General Studies, Magna Cum Laude. She moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1988 and began performing with Studio Theatre of Richmond.She returned to Louisiana in 1991 to earn an MFA in Drama and Communications at the University of New Orleans. During that time she acted in the World War II drama Silent Cries (1993), a movie-of-the-week produced by NBC/BBC and directed by Anthony Page, starring Gena Rowlands and Annabeth Gish. She also acted in an episode of Unsolved Mysteries (1990), several commercials, theatrical productions and a music video featuring British pop star Simon Climie. Harman taught acting at the University of New Orleans and taught Film Appreciation at Our Lady of the Holy Cross College in Algiers, Louisiana. She also sold art at a gallery on Royal Street.In 1995, Harman moved to Los Angeles, California. She had a series of paranormal encounters, and was featured as herself in various media interviews on the subject of UFOs. She wrote for UFO Magazine from 2000-2004.Harman met astrologer Jeff Harman in 1998 at a gas station in Malibu, California. They married August 22, 2001, and their son Aidan Harman was born in 2002. They lived in Tucson, Arizona, from 2005-2015, where they formed Conjunction, LLC, a production company, and wrote and produced the short film Busted: The Beginning of Wisdom.The family returned to Los Angeles in 2015. Harman acts and assists her son in his acting career. She is also a producing partner with her husband. They live in West Hills, California. Harman is a revert to Roman Catholicism. Show less «
